NEW DELHI: The Finance Ministry Thursday asked alternate and industry to exercising warning whilst submitting the annual GST returns form because the facility to revise it is not available.
In a declaration, the ministry stated the once a year returns shape is now to be had at the commonplace portal for submitting and requested Goods and Services Tax (GST) payers to record their returns at the earliest.
The ministry had on December 31, 2018, notified the once a year returns bureaucracy GSTR-9, GSTR-9A and GSTR-9C. The GST Council had in December prolonged the remaining date for filing these bureaucracy via three months to June 30, 2019.
GSTR-nine is the annual go back form for everyday taxpayers, GSTR-9A is for composition taxpayers, whilst GSTR-9C is a reconciliation announcement.
"Taxpayers may additionally please exercise caution whilst submitting this return as facility to revise the Form GSTR-nine and Form GSTR-9A isn't always available," the ministry stated.
